On 23.05.2024, an International Conference on “Challenges and Needs of Women Entrepreneurs” was held to support women’s entrepreneurship within the framework of the project “Support to Women’s Entrepreneurship for the Western Balkans and Ukraine”, funded by the Chamber of Crafts Koblenz. The event was also attended by representatives from Ukraine, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania and Kosovo.
The guests present were addressed by the Executive Director of ZKKoblenz Germany Ralf Hellrich and the Project Manager Evelina Parvanova.At the conference, the representative of the Ministry of Economy Mrs. Sanie Ismaili presented the measures for women’s entrepreneurship and the possibility of using subsidies by women entrepreneurs.At the event, plaques for contribution to the development of vocational education were awarded to master hairdresser Vesna Stefkova, award for contribution to the development of the chamber system to Biljana Stefanovska and award for the development of women’s entrepreneurship to Suzana Blaževska.The first Association of Women Entrepreneurs was also formed where in the future it will be of great benefit and help to all those women who want to become independent and decide to open their own business.
At the international conference, a panel discussion was held to exchange experiences between women in three countries RSMakedonia, Montenegro and Albania.Panelists were Natalia Pirova, President of the Cosmetics Section, Alda Mula, President of the Women’s Committee at the Chamber of Crafts in Albania, Edita Dautović president of the Association of Women of Montenegro and Maja Jovanovska, owner of the confectionery Kake House.At the event, 18 master degrees were awarded to hairdressers and beauticians, the master exam was financially supported within the project.
